Position Purpose:Under direct supervision, carries out the clerical aspects of the contract and bidding documentation function. Works directly with the bidding agencies as a primary contact and works closely with sales to communicate bid awards. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:- Code contracts and maintain contract archive.
- Enter contracts into pricing system.
- Provide reports to sales associates, vendors, and customers in a timely manner.
- Calculate and process customer rebates.
- Maintain a database of report requirements.
- Provide accurate and timely phone and email responses.
- Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years accounting or contracts administrative support experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient 10 key and Alpha-Numeric data entry skills, with high accuracy.
• Microsoft Word and Outlook experience.
• Ability to work in busy office, while maintaining focus on detailed tasks.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to complete fiscal period/calendar month end requirements.
Preferred Qualifications• Associates degree or higher in Accounting or Business Administration.
• 2+ years accounting or contracts administrative support experience.
• Experience in the foodservice industry
