Job DescriptionPosition Summary:A Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently and accurately unloading product, sorting, segregating and putting away the product into the proper locations throughout the warehouse; and other duties as assigned.
Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8am to 430pm
Position Responsibilities:- Will operate various kinds of powered industrial equipment which may include stand-up or sit-down fork trucks, rider pallet trucks, slip sheeter, and other equipment found in distribution warehousing.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications6 month - 1year warehouse and or distribution experience operating machine.
Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and
required overtime for the position.
Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
Pass pre-employment drug test.
Preferred QualificationsOver one year warehouse work experience and or distribution experience operating machine.
Foodservice/grocery distribution industry experience
OSHA certified Forklift
