Job Description
Job Summary:
Performance Foodservice is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including campaign management, content creation, social media, and event planning. The Marketing Intern will support key marketing initiatives and work closely with team members to help drive brand awareness and customer engagement within the foodservice industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Content Creation: Assist in creating, editing, and scheduling content for social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns. Support the development of flyers, presentations, and product-focused materials.
  2. Campaign Support: Help execute and track marketing campaigns. This may include promotional events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
  3. Social Media Management: Contribute to planning and posting on Performance Foodservice's social media platforms, monitoring engagement, and gathering analytics for performance reports.
  4. Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support marketing strategy and content development.
  5. Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining project timelines, and organizing marketing assets and collateral.
  6. Data Analysis: Compile and analyze data from various marketing initiatives, including web traffic, email performance, and social media engagement, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing basics.
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Creative thinker with an interest in foodservice and marketing trends.
Mentorship and networking opportunities with experienced marketing professionals.
