Position Purpose:
Lead the Purchasing Support Operations team to effectively deliver catalogue and master data management and execute deal & costing activities. You will manage a team across various locations, with multiple internal stakeholders - including Operations, Merchandising and Sales.
As part of a transformation journey, the successful candidate will be taking the lead in simplifying and advancing processes and tools across teams and operating systems. This individual must be able to manage a large team, work strategically, and collaborate with cross functional teams to add value for our customers and suppliers.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day team activities to drive measurable execution improvement.
  • Proactively identify opportunities - these may be related to process optimization, improved workflow, enhanced reporting or leveraging technology.
  • Ensuring pricing, and processes adhere to strict compliance with SOX
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• \tMinimum of 5 years of related experience in a wholesale/retail procurement or related field.
• \tMinimum of 2 years people management experience
• \tMinimum of 2 years Purchasing related experience
• \tProficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based programs.
Preferred Qualifications
• \tBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent business experience.
• \tFamiliarity and working knowledge Purchasing Processes
• \tExperience in Convenience Channel
• \tProficiency in reporting tools e.g., Power BI
• \tFamiliarity and working knowledge of AS400 and SAP
