Position Summary:The Manager of Field Services primary roles include developing and leading a regional team, being a liaison between Corporate IT and Business Unit Leadership on subjects related to OpCo and end user IT function, and to promote best practices ensuring company standards are observed. They will use their experience to establish guidelines and solutions and will prioritize staffing and projects to best meet company objectives.
This role requires up to 50% travel.Position Responsibilities:- Manage associates on staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution. Lead and develop people toward organizational and personal success. Guide associates in career development.
- Design and oversee the implementation of end user technologies across OpCos. Be the liaison between Corporate IT and Business Unit / OpCo leadership. Leverage relationships to ensure best practices and company standards are observed. Team up with other Field Services region managers/team members to create a unified vision and support model.
- Develop and manage projects and initiatives including system conversions, device and infrastructure lifecycle management and new technology implementations.
- Develop/execute tactical plans that enable successful business operations and, when applicable, business transformation. Ensure resources are accurately allocated in line with tactical plans and appropriately accounted for at all times.
- Engage and develop relationships with 3rd party vendors to ensure company standards and goals are met.
- Manage resources to ensure timely resolution of assigned L1/L2/L3/L4 incidents.
- Ensure success of IT and Business Initiatives via effective communications and change management programs and techniques.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in MIS, CS, or related field.
7 - 10 years
Minimum of 2 years in people management roll.
Experience developing a productive work culture with local and remote team members.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships across multiple departments and 3rd parties.
Project management experience, including design and implementation.
Strong background in networking, Azure, Active Directory, Windows OS, O365, and end user technologies.
Familiarity with mobile device management, Windows Server, and automation technologies, Demonstrated success in implementation of new technologies.
Strong business acumen.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Professional Certification(s): Applicable Technical Certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications in office-based technologies
