Position Summary:The Production worker is responsible for operating and maintaining line equipment, monitor the process, and assist production line with the preparation and packaging products ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and quality standards are met and maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company
Position Responsibilities:- Operate packaging line and other plant duties as assigned
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks to move product, load trucks, and unload incoming materials
- Understand and follow shipping schedule to ensure on time packaging and shipping.
- Gather, inspect, and complete paperwork required for shipping and traceability
- Follow all policies and procedures required by Preferred Popcorn that involve the packaging of products. Report defective product, fill boxes to order, tape and label as needed. Stack and shrink wrap pallets
- Complete appropriate documentation in order to comply with company guidelines, not limited to packaging and finished product traceability
- Monitor CCP complete appropriate paperwork, perform food safety and quality inspection on finished product and collect retention samples from customer orders
- Maintain and clean all work areas, remove excess product from floor, perform sanitation on production equipment and conduct swabbing
- Report any food safety, quality, and occupational concerns to management immediately
- Follow all policies and procedures on safety, cleanliness, and SQF/FDA
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Forklift experience preferred, will train
