Job DescriptionThe Center of the Plate (COP) position will perform the following duties:
- Procures, prices and drives profitable COP street sales growth.
- Interacts with customers, vendors and Sales Force in a friendly, timely and quality manner
- Ensures all questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner
- Consults with Company personnel regarding customer requests, product specifications, quality and other issues as necessary.
- Procures and sells assigned COP categories
- Responds to sales and customer service requests and inquiries
- Negotiates prices for special promotions and programs
- Manages the overstocked products
- Manages Rebate Programs and ensures confidential treatment of related information
- Establishes customer base to ensure the COP category grows to plan expectation
- Establishes new vendor accounts through the necessary functions
- Promotes and manages marketing program at location
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience: 1 - 2 Years
Sales/marketing, business or related area within
foodservice industry. Previous Center of Plate (COP)
experience.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Education: Bachelors
Preferred Experience: 2 - 4 Years
