A Brief OverviewThe Sr. Multi-Media Design & Communications Specialist will have experience in content management as well as communications channel optimization and graphic design. This role will manage multiple communications channels and platforms including social media, intranet (SharePoint) and digital screen messaging (Appspace) and be responsible for the design and execution of enterprise-wide internal communications for these channels. The selected candidate will partner with the team to execute associate engagement activities, special events and community relations programs. This team member will collaborate with the team to provide communication & engagement strategic planning, consultation and support.
What you will do- Platform and Channel Management - Develops, creates, and implements high-quality graphic designs for multiple channels and platforms including social media, web, digital screen messaging, presentations, and publications. Supports and measures communications content for channels and platforms including SharePoint intranet, Appspace, Social Sprout and Cision and seeks to expand by building best practices and tools to grow the community of users, particularly for frontline associates. Proactively watches and performs active listening on social media sites, escalating the positive for recognition and the negative for reputational risk mitigation. In addition, supports the identification and deployment of tools to measure the effectiveness and ROI of our communication & engagement efforts and initiatives, seeking ways to improve and innovate.
- Design - Develops, creates, and implements high-quality graphic designs for multiple channels and platforms, including social media, web, digital screen messaging, presentations, and publications.
- Strategic Communications - Executes communications projects, programs and relationships, working with cross-business/functional teams and outside parties. Works to tie associate and community engagement plans together to create a clear and compelling story for stakeholders. Creates compelling communication content, visuals, and graphics for delivery on PFG's internal and external communication channels.
- Associate Engagement - Identifies and manages activities and opportunities to enrich the associate experience and engagement, including supporting our associate engagement survey practice. Helps design new ways to connect with, recognize and celebrate our associates. Supports the team and VP of Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging with the communication and implementation of inclusion and diversity initiatives.
- Community Engagement - Supports community engagement events & activities. Supports the external communications lead in the execution of our community engagement strategy, including our PFG-sponsored volunteer activities and calendar of events. Promotes activities via multiple channels to build volunteerism, strengthen company brand and recognize partners and participants.
Required Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Design or Multi-Media or related field
• 3 - 5 Years Professional experience creating internal/external communications visuals
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Acrobat Pro)
• Experience in Canva Platform
• Skillful in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint online, digital signage
• Knowledge of intranet best practices and internal communication channel optimization
• Experience with social media platforms and use of algorithms and metrics
• Self-directed and able to manage multiple deadlines while ensuring high-quality products and service
• General understanding of writing employee communications and supporting strategic communications projects
• Exceptional planning, organizing and attention to detail skills
• Builds relationships and fosters collaboration
• Thinks critically and uses judgment when approaching challenges and opportunities
• Experience with employee and community engagement practices and events
