Position Summary:The primary role of the Sr. IT Facility Service Engineer is to oversee IT installation at various construction sites of our Operating Companies (OpCos). They will collaborate with local construction teams, network teams, server teams, and desk support. They will lead or assist in the coordinating and execution of IT installation within the OpCo location(s).
Position Responsibilities:- Build and maintain effective relationships with leadership and staff at assigned construction sites.
- Understand high-level business functions, from an IT perspective. Keep abreast of technology in use at assigned locations.
- Liase between OpCo leadership, desk support, network engineers, cabling teams, and external vendors for coordination of physical IT installation. Leverage relationships to ensure best practices and company standards are observed.
- Lead or assist with the coordination of IT installation at various construction sites, develop and maintain necessary installation budget projects. Responsibilities may include planning, coordinating with various teams enterprise wide, and managing external vendor relationships.
- Knowledgeable of networks.
- Understand floor plans to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Comfortable with working on construction sites.
- Up to 50% travel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
7-10 Years
Must be close to an airport; requires 50% travel
Experience working at construction sites
Preferred QualificationsAssociates/2-year Technical
10+ years
