OLM Food Solutions is now taking applications for a 2025 Summer Intern in their IT Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop Support: Provide assistance in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for internal employees.
Help Desk Support: Learn and use a help desk system to categorize and manage support tickets, escalate issues as necessary, and ensure timely resolution.
• Remote Support: Gain hands-on experience with LogMeIn and other remote support tools to assist employees with their technical issues from a distance.
• Customer Service: Develop customer service techniques to effectively communicate with end-users and provide quality support.
• Collaboration and Meetings: Participate in team stand-up meetings and one-on-one sessions with IT staff to review progress, discuss challenges, and enhance professional development.
• IT Project Assistance: Assist with ongoing IT projects by performing research, testing, documentation, or other tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
• Current Enrollment in a college or university program related to Information Technology,
Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux),
hardware troubleshooting, and software installations.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical
and non-technical users.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Customer Service Orientation: A willingness to learn and demonstrate effective customer
service techniques.
• Desire to Learn: A strong interest in IT and a willingness to learn about different IT systems
and tools.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow procedures, document issues, and provide clear
updates to team members.
