Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Core-Mark CFO, the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will lead the company's FP&A function, driving financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and analytical insights that support decision-making at the executive level. This role is critical in shaping the financial roadmap of the organization, ensuring robust forecasting processes, efficient resource allocation, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The VP FP&A will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, providing insights into business performance, market trends, and key drivers to drive growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
  • Empower and inspire directors and managers to ensure a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Lead the company's financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set financial targets, define KPIs, and establish performance benchmarks that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with regional finance, operations, and business unit leaders to ensure alignment on financial goals, budgeting practices, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement best practices in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the FP&A function.
  • Develop presentations and materials that communicate financial performance, strategic initiatives, and forward-looking insights to senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
• Degree in Accounting and Finance
• 6+ years of senior financial leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Masters/MBA
• 6+ years of experience within the convenience or foodservice industry
