Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Salary Range: 65,000
Position Purpose:
The training supervisor's primary duties will be welcoming new associates to the warehouse and continually developing their skills while simultaneously monitoring metrics to verify they are obtaining predetermined goals. The training supervisor will have coaching conversations for metrics not at goal and need to be capable of accomplishing weekly and daily deliverables. The training supervisor will identify, develop, implement, and monitor training needs/SOPs in the organization and partner with the management team to plan, design, and implement training programs/procedures to educate associates.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Issue performance accountabilities/conduct conversations surrounding an associate's inability to meet goal.
  • Data-entry using any Microsoft software.
  • Lead with empathy and kindness, maintaining an amiable temperament.
  • Able to conduct presentations in an efficient, engaging fashion with varying group sizes.
  • Conduct interviews and select new hires.
  • Ability to analyze data and come to conclusions on root causes for any potential issues, being able to think critically and provide tangible solutions.
  • Document any applicable conversations and update trackers utilizing job-specific diction and elaborating on necessary details.
  • Builds relationships and motivates new associates to reach intended goals.
  • Able to fulfill any subordinate's role to the standard said associate is required.
  • Review, refine and implement any changes, able to provide feedback on processes that do and don't work. Continually looking for ways to improve processes.
  • Auditing and coaching trainers to be compliant with the trainers and trainee's SOPs.
  • Tracks and maintains trainee/trainer KPIs.
  • Build content and facilitators guides with the management team that will outline programs, expectations, areas of concentration so that the overall training programs can be conducted with a high degree of consistency and effectiveness.
  • Assists in developing an associate's comprehension of the KPIs and why they are important/what their work impacts.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
2 -4 years of warehouse or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates/2-year technical degree in business management, logistics or related area.
4 - 6 years of warehouse experience within foodservice industry.
Supervisory experience.
OSHA Forklift operator certificate.
