Position Details:

• Walk ins are always welcome! We will walk you through the application process and interview you the same day!
• Full-time schedule, Sunday starting at 1:00pm and Monday-Thursday starting at 2:00pm
• Pay starts at $18 an hour plus opportunity for premium pay

Position Purpose: The Yard Driver is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Tractor trailers will be moved around the facility, no city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Able to back up to the dock
• Ability to back up within tight spaces on the yard
• Be safe and vigilant while working on the yard
