Position Purpose: The Accounts Payable Accountant supports month end duties including month end reporting, analytics, accruals, journal entries and other Accountant responsibilities within the Accounts Payable department.
Primary Responsibilities:- Complete Monthly End Reporting
- Prepare month end accruals
- Prepare journal entries
- Various types of Reclassing and reconciliations
- Recurring expense management
- Monthly Tax payments
- Escheatment/Unclaimed Property management
- Annual filing of 1099's
- Audit requests as needed
- Special projects to streamline, drive efficiency, and root cause analyses
- Other assignments and responsibilities as assigned by AP Manager
- Weekly Bank reconciliations
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications• Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience including accounts payable experience
Preferred Qualifications• Experience with a publicly traded company preferred
