Job Summary:
Purchasing of food and/or non-food products for Food Service distribution from established Vendor networks and manage Inventory to a reasonable level while maintaining an acceptable Service Level fill rate to PFG Customer's. Assist with Special Order requests. Assist the PFG Batesville Sales associates by answering questions and providing solutions to help better serve the PFG customer base. Functions as a Team member within the Procurement Department and PFG organization, as required, and performs assigned duties to best serve the company.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
1 - 2 years purchasing or related area
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree: Business, supply chain or related area
2 - 4 years purchasing or related area within foodservice industry
