Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for analyzing and verifying complex financial information, to include creation and maintenance of production models. Identify and recommend effective solutions towards process improvements while providing leadership and direction. Internal contacts with employees at all levels in the organization. External contacts may include vendors and customers. Assist in preparing financial reporting, reconciling general ledger accounts and performing month-end close activities. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Duties
Maintains existing production models, and assesses need to implement new tracking mechanisms to assist management in decision making.
Price Volume Mix analysis.
Audit price and cost inputs within ERP system.
Perform and/or review complex accounting reconciliations and balance sheet trend analysis.
Cross train to perform critical duties of accounting team, to include Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting deadlines.
Ensure transactions are performed within a sound internal control environment, in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxely (SOX) key controls. Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements and efficient use of resources. Effectively lead team through change.

Required Qualifications
Required Education:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Required Experience: 4 - 6 Years
Please specify: General Accounting, fixed asset accounting, or
other relevant experience in a high-volume transaction
environment; Thorough understanding and application of
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); High
proficiency in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of Microsoft
Access.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education: Bachelors

Please specify: Cost Accounting, or other relevant experience
in a manufacturing environment; Thorough understanding and
application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP); High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of
Microsoft Access. Experience with supervision and/or project
leadership a plus. Exposure to major ERP applications a plus.
Foodservice distribution experience a plus.
Preferred Professional Certification(s): Yes If Yes, please specify: Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and/or
American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification; Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
