Job Description
Position Summary:
Implements and maintains PFG's standard Warehouse Methods, Engineered Labor Standards, and the Associate Performance Tracking (APT) system to track warehouse productivity and labor expense against management directed goals. Instrumental in maintaining the integrity of the standard PFG Warehouse Performance Incentive system which drives payroll for all Warehouse Operations. Train for and support major projects and systems initiatives that occur in Warehouse Operations, such as warehouse slotting, building move support, and Operational Excellence and customer service improvement initiatives. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Implement, maintain, and train associates on the Associate Performance Tracking system.
  • Implement and maintain Engineered Labor Standards.
  • Conduct warehouse methods training.
  • Perform warehouse product slotting, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and balanced receiving support.
  • Perform general warehouse evaluation and support.
  • This is an on-site internship opportunity
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Junior majoring in Engineering, Business, or other related field
- Overall GPA 3.0 or higher
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Senior majoring in Engineering, Business, or other related field
