Job Responsibilities- Help desk support
- Perform initial setup of new computers and/or upgrades
- Troubleshoot PC issues
- Troubleshoot application issues
- Support the data center cloud migration project
- Install or repair company computers with standardized hardware, applications, and networking software
- Maintain computer supplies area to support the maintenance plan
- Assist the IT Analyst, Network Administrator, Directors of IT and VP of IT on special projects relating to hardware, software, communications and organization and planning
The IT Support Intern will play a crucial role in providing help desk support, performing computer setups and upgrades, troubleshooting PC and application issues, and contributing to the data center cloud migration project. This position involves installing and repairing company computers, maintaining computer supplies, and assisting with special projects related to hardware, software, and organizational planning.
Required Qualifications• Must be a student currently enrolled in an Associate/Bachelor Computer Science or IT related program
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* Must live in the Tuscaloosa, Al. area - no relocation
