Job Description
This position reports to a Sales leader and interfaces primarily with the Sales and Sales Support teams, and will also interact with key internal business partners. Vistar is committed to a collaborative, agile, and service-oriented culture that emphasizes employee growth with both internal and external relationship building.
The Sales Support Intern will gain exposure to the following areas:
• The big picture / strategy of a Fortune 200 company, specifically how a distribution company operates, and how Sales fits in and enables success
• How different departments work together to support customers
• Sales process/cycle
• Candy, snack, and beverage industry (Food/Bev)
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Build out Power BI dashboards and analytics which support national accounts
• Help create presentations and materials for customer meetings
Skills the intern will learn:
• Analyses and sales strategies
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Internal workings of sales organization
Required Qualifications
• Must be current student, with a minimum of 3.0 GPA in field of study
• Must be studying Business, Analytics, Sales, or closely related
• Must be available for a 10 week, full-time internship in Englewood beginning June 2 (subject to change slightly)
