Job Description:
Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll. Solve accounting problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Analyze and interpret numerical data and perform basic financial analysis. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Prepare accurate reports within established guidelines to support management in decision-making process. Develop spreadsheets as requested.Perform accurate financial analysis and reconciliation duties with minimal mistakes. LIFO calculation at period end. Reconcile inventory and supplies at period end. Review departmental financial statements (F/S) at period end Perform basic financial analysis. Reconcile daily cash receipts to daily bank statements. Reconcile general ledger accounts to help management make informed business decisions Track sales tax refunded to customers on period and monthly spreadsheets. Track food show promotion expenses on a spreadsheet. Track fixed asset additions on a spreadsheet. Track freight charges in various spreadsheets. Analyze and reconcile accounts receivable at each period end, making necessary journal entries. Analyze and reconcile the general operating account, payroll and retirement accounts at each period-end, making necessary journal entries. Prepare monthly and quarterly state sales tax forms.Perform other related duties as assigned.Benefits:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent ExperienceRequired Experience:1 - 3 years of accounting experiencePreferred qualifications:
