Job Description:

Position Details:
  • Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday (occasional Saturdays)
  • Start Time: 7:30am until finished (approx. 4:30pm, exception Fridays end at 2:00pm)
  • Pay Rate: Starting at $15, with $1 increase after 90 days based on performance and production needs met
  • Work Location: 500 Amera Trail, Saint Cloud, FL 34773

Position Purpose:
Processes and packs butter products using hand tools and machinery, ensuring correct mold, butter type, and pressing equipment per order specifications. Prepares, cuts, and documents batches while working in a cold environment and following all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
Major Functional Responsibilities:
  • Process & pack butter products to order schedule specifications either by hand or by using various machinery in a safe manner
  • Check & ensure that mold type, butter type & pressing machine is correct per order item & schedule
  • Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.)
  • Cut butter into required specifications for mixing & pressing processes per schedule
  • Provide & distribute cut butter to pressers for processing
  • Prepare bulk uncut butter by pulling from cooler & removing from cases to slack on tables
  • Document & record each batch completion correctly
  • Able to meet minimum production quota requirements
  • Able to work cold refrigerated environment
  • Perform cleaning & sanitation of processing facility & equipment thoroughly
  • Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, HACCP, SQF guidelines & procedures, and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements
  • Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
  • Schedule: Mon thru Fri, 7:30am to 4:30pm
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience: 1+ year of experience in fast-paced production environment or other related experience such as; handling food, manufacturing, prep cook, line worker.
Physical Requirements: Must be willing to lift up to 60 pounds.
Skills:
Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail
Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise.
Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to perform basic math skills
Maintain professional, positive attitude and good work ethics.

Preferred qualifications:

Familiarity or experience in HACCP/SQF
HACCP Certified
