Job Summary:
Responsible for partnering with corporate and the operating companies to further develop and execute our enhanced presence in the assigned segment. Collaborate with corporate Procurement and suppliers to create a superior product portfolio that leverages our exclusive brands and aligns with OpCo and customer needs. Establish and deliver product and sales skills training to sales and procurement associates to enable success. Work with the field to identify opportunities for profitable sales and customer growth and facilitate same. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop a growth strategy for the assigned segment to further penetrate and expand new customer base and market share. Develop and drive execution of plan.
  • Collaborate with field leadership and Corporate Procurement to build a product portfolio that leverages exclusive brands.
  • Provides clear leadership related to segment's sales activities via effective and efficient sales management, coaching/training, communication and visibility in the market.
  • Responsible for complete analysis of segment business and trends, including financial, market and competitive activity. Conduct business reviews with suppliers and customers and make recommendations in support of the strategy. Identify opportunities for profitable sales growth and execute same in partnership with the OpCos.
  • Develop and conduct a training program for the product line, and segment specific sales tools and process that enable success.
  • Develop reports and presentations to leaders, suppliers and customers in support of the segment.
  • Attend Trade Shows and cuttings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
5 - 7 years of sales / sales management or field operations within vending or foodservice industry.
Center of the Plate and Brand knowledge experience required.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales / Marketing or related area
7 - 10 year's sales / sales management or field operations within vending or foodservice industry.
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
