Position Purpose:
The Director of Data & Analytics is responsible for ensuring HR and business leaders have accurate, trusted, and actionable workforce data that enables informed decision-making. This role oversees HR data strategy, governance, architecture, reporting, and advanced analytics, while leading and developing the Data & Reporting team. The position partners with key stakeholders to align data capabilities with HR and enterprise priorities, ensures data security and compliance, and drives continuous improvement across HR systems, integrations, and analytics processes.
Major Functional Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Data & Reporting team.
  • Support the implementation of HR analytics priorities as defined by senior leadership
  • Build, enhance, and scale data, reporting, and analytics capabilities based on business needs.
  • Oversee HR data architecture, including system structure, data flows, and integrations.
  • Maintain and improve data quality, accuracy, and consistency across HR systems and reports.
  • Ensure reliable, accurate, and secure third-party vendor interfaces and integrations.
  • Partner with HR functional leaders, IT, and business stakeholders to align on data priorities.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, security controls, and privacy standards.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead execution of data-related process improvements.
  • Enable high-quality insights, dashboards, and decision-support tools for HR and business leaders.
  • Lead development of standard and ad hoc reporting to support annual cycles (headcount, talent, DEI, compensation, compliance, etc.).
  • Serve as subject matter expert on HR data structure, reporting capabilities, and analytics tools.
  • Monitor and adopt emerging technologies to enhance HR analytics maturity.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
Work Experience:
• 7 - 10 years : Progressive experience in HR analytics, data governance, HRIS, or enterprise reporting
• 5 - 7 years: Leading analytics, reporting, systems, or data teams
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience designing and implementing HR analytics strategy and data architecture
• Experience with major HR systems (Workday, UKG, SAP, Oracle), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and data governance frameworks

Preferred qualifications:

Preferred Education:
• Master's Degree/MBA - HR Analytics, Data Science, MBA, MIS
