Position Purpose:Manages all aspects of the transportation function in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, including selection of qualified drivers, routing, driving, safety, unloading, fleet maintenance, customer/driver relationships, and Department of Transportation (DOT) and Operating Company (OpCo) compliance. Includes involvement with the driver selection and orientation process, handling employee relations issues including disciplinary action, monitoring DOT and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) compliance, managing Transportation Supervisors and monitoring the routing process to ensure customer satisfaction. High School Diploma or Equivalent4-6 Years of Transportation experience including in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with operations of computerized fleet management systems. Supervisory experience.Valid Driver's License in good standingPass post offer drug test and criminal background checkPreferred qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, logistics, or related area. 6-10 Years of transportation experience including in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with operations of computerized fleet management systems.
