Position Summary:
Responsible for analyzing and reporting financial data as it pertains to the profitable operations of the
organization.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform analyzes of route and customer profitability, pro forma new business analyzes, pro forma new warehouse analyzes, cap ex present value analyzes and managerial accounting.
  • Develop and administer bonus plans and accruals.
  • Review and analyze monthly statements.
  • Evaluate financial stability of large accounts.
  • Analyze and help eliminate net cost of credits.
  • Analyze and help eliminate general ledger vs. perpetual inventory discrepancies.
  • Know, follow, and enforce all safety rules in associate handbook, training manuals, and posted throughout facility.
  • Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately.
  • Achieve zero injury to self and others, property, facility, equipment damage, and property loss.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Accounting, finance, or industrial engineering
• 1-3 years related experience
• Accounting experience.
• Proficient in 10-Key, data entry, and Excel skills.
• Superior qualitative skills.
• Must be project oriented.

Preferred qualifications:

• Masters Degree/MBA
• Input Weekly/Daily Price Deviations
• Oversee accounting of Customer Rebates/Prebate program (Accruals, payouts, account reconciliations)
• Update & Review monthly Prebate schedules
• Review Weekly SOX reports (Inventory Valuation)
• Perform additional tasks as necessary in collaboration with the Bid Dept
• Proficiency in AS400 system, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, BI, a plus
