Position Details:
- Work Schedule: Monday Thru Friday
- Start Time: From 6:00 AM until job is complete, approx.. 3pm
- Pay Rate: $28 per hour
- Work Location: 3595 NW 125th Street, Miami, FL 33167

- Process/Cut & pack fish to order schedule specifications of fish cuts either by variety of hand tools or by various machines in seafood processing environment
- Sharpen and adjust cutting/processing equipment. Start-up and shut down equipment.
- Receive and inspect fish to ensure quality with no defects or abnormalities. Maintain proper stock levels on production line.
- Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.)
- Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, procedures and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements
- Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience: 3 years of fish cutting experience Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50lbs, pushing/pulling up to 50lbs. Skills: Ability to work in cold and wet environments. Must be able to work in varying temperatures per department between 32 F to 80F + Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail. Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise. Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to perform basic math skills. Team player with professional, positive attitude and good work ethics.Preferred qualifications:
Preferably in food handling or food processing Familiarity. knowledge in Fish advantageous.EEO Statement:
