Position Purpose:
The Marketing Specialist role supports company growth and profitability by executing marketing programs aligned with strategic marketing plans and overall business objectives. The Marketing Specialist develops and delivers branded written and visual content across multiple channels, managing marketing projects and events through strong organizational and project management skills. This position collaborates cross-functionally and with external partners to complete projects that achieve departmental and organizational goals. As a Marketing Specialist, you will deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. You will assist in prioritizing projects and programs based on contribution to immediate yet sustainable revenue enhancements. The Marketing Specialist functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs additional duties as assigned to best support the organization.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Support the development and execution of short‑ and long‑term marketing strategies to drive profitable growth.
  • Design, develop, and execute ongoing promotions and communications, including deal emails, market reports, newsletters, seasonal campaigns, flyers, website updates, and corporate marketing initiatives as requested.
  • Monitor and track execution of vendor marketing programs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and buyers to support new product launches, including timely updates to the website, ordering system, and marketing materials.
  • Assist with planning and execution of major tradeshows and related events.
  • Create, order, and manage inventory of promotional items.
  • Prepare materials for monthly sales meetings and assist with customer specific sales presentation needs and vendor reviews as requested.
  • Support the development, launch, and ongoing management of social media programs.
  • Perform additional marketing, design, and administrative tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe InDesign and/or Canva, WordPress (content updates), HTML email platforms (e.g., Emma, Mailchimp), and social media platforms, including video editing and planning tools (e.g., Planoly or similar), Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday Schedule (8am - 5pm)

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-2 Years of Marketing or related experience that includes promotions, graphics and web design, as well as MS Office.

Preferred qualifications:

Associates/2- year technical degree in Marketing or related field.
2-4 Years of Marketing experience within foodservice industry that includes graphic design, Adobe InDesign, MS WordPress and MS Excel
