Position Details:

This Recruiter role is part of our dedicated Talent Acquisition Team focused on recruiting for high-volume positions for our distribution centers in the Eastern Time Zone. These high-volume positions primarily include warehouse order selector and Class A & B delivery drivers. The Recruiter will work remotely/virtually to support multiple locations.
Details regarding this role:
  • Recruits and sources qualified candidates for open warehouse and driver positions through a variety of means including postings, job boards, social media, networking, etc.
  • Work remotely/virtually to support multiple locations in the Eastern Time Zone.
  • Reviews and screens applications and resumes to determine suitability for open positions.
  • Evaluates and recommends to hiring manager screened applicants for specific openings in accordance with requirements and specifications.
  • Consults with other HR staff and hiring managers regarding job postings, media placement and screening criteria.
  • Ensures overall positive candidate experience.
  • Develops, streamlines, and enhances staffing systems, tracking, and reporting.
  • Conducts analysis on staffing-related activities.
  • Performs recruitment activities in compliance with human resources policies and procedures and in accordance with federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Cultivates and maintains ongoing working relationships with business leaders, field operations and HR staff to proactively understand business needs and create partnerships that ensure a seamless hiring practice.
  • Develops metrics in support of hiring activity.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree for internal candidates.
1 - 3 years recruiting experience

Preferred qualifications:

3+ year's recruiting experience to include multi-location responsibility and expertise in filling warehousing and transportation type roles.
Prefer candidates located/working in Eastern Time Zone
Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Advanced computer skills to include e-communications, MS Office, Excel, applicant tracking systems and related software systems.
Experience with social media and traditional recruiting advertising placement and management.
