Position Summary:
This Recruiter role is part of our dedicated Centralized Recruiting Team focused on recruiting for high-volume positions for our distribution centers in our southregion, primarily across Central and Eastern time zone(s). The high-volume positions the recruiter supports primarily include warehouse and driver roles.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develops sourcing strategies and leverages established best practices and SOPs.
  • Recruits and sources qualified candidates for open warehouse and driver positions through a variety of means including postings, leveraging technology, job boards, social media, networking, etc. across all locations in the assigned region.
  • Reviews and screens applications and resumes to determine suitability for open positions.
  • Schedules interviews for vetted candidates and local HR/Operations staff.
  • Follows up on pending items as needed.
  • Facilitates a positive candidate experience.
  • Under supervision, develops, streamlines, and enhances staffing systems, tracking, and reporting.
  • Conducts analysis on staffing-related activities.
  • Performs recruitment activities in compliance with human resources policies and procedures and in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Cultivates and maintains ongoing working relationships with business leaders, field operations and HR staff to proactively understand business needs and create partnerships that ensure a seamless hiring practice.
  • Serves as in-house consultant on recruiting practices and strategies.
  • Assists with other locations/regions, and roles, as needed. (Primarily covering when team member is on PTO).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Our ideal location is Arlington, TX. However, we will consider internal candidates based at other OpCos (distribution centers) in the assigned region in these locations:
  • Kissimmee, FL
  • Houston, TX
  • Lawrenceville, GA

Qualifications:

2+ years recruiting experience to include filling high-volume type positions
Intermediate computer skills to include e-communication, MS Office (especially Excel), applicant tracking systems and related software
Demonstrated strength in managing multiple priorities and high-volume work flow
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel occasionally

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
3+ years recruiting experience to include multi-location responsibility and expertise in filling warehousing and transportation type roles
Foodservice distribution or related industry experience strongly preferred
Advanced computer skills to include e-communication, MS Office, Excel, applicant tracking systems and related software
Experience with social media and traditional recruiting advertising placement and management
