Position Summary:
Provide Human Resources (HR) expertise, knowledge, discipline, leadership, and vision to the region executive(s), region team, and OpCo leaders for Performance Foodservice, the largest segment of Performance Food Group. As a strategic/business partner for Performance Foodservice, this role serves as a catalyst and a conduit between corporate headquarters and the field to evaluate, develop, communicate, implement, and execute HR programs and initiatives in an effective manner. Highly impactful in providing guidance, and interpretation on all matters, both strategic and tactical, relating to employee and labor relations issues to all OpCos within the region. Responsible for identifying and developing talent at the senior leadership level at each OpCo. Most senior field HR management position. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Supervise associates to include, but not limited to staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem solving.
  • Talent assessment and acquisition of senior leadership for each OpCo.
  • Succession planning and improving bench strength through development or recruiting talent.
  • Providing employee relations expertise and coaching/mentoring to OpCo Presidents and HR VPs.
  • Human Resource program development, implementation and compliance.
  • Training and development

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration and/or related field of study
10-15 years' experience in senior level Human Resources or related field including supervisory related responsibility
Travel 50%
Must be located in South/SW US (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri)

Preferred qualifications:

Masters/MBA
15 + years' experience in Human Resources or related field including supervisory related responsibility
Foodservice related industry experience
