Job Description:

Performance Foodservice in Rock Island, Illinois is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work in our warehouse. This is a first shift position offering an excellent career opportunity.

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform the following duties:
  • Be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repairs of all powered material handling equipment on site.
  • Maintain and repair all building systems, batteries, battery chargers, HVAC equipment, refrigeration system, dock doors and ramps, sprinkler system, the roof and all electrical services.
  • Inspect all equipment and repair or replace as necessary to avoid down time.
  • Maintain inventory of repair parts.
  • Respond to maintenance calls.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months' mechanical maintenance experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience maintaining and repairing powered material handling equipment.
